The Bell Jar – Sylvia Plath - well written, interesting & memorable.

The Alchemist - really enjoyed
The Great Gatsby - got boring after analysing it 2 years in a row
The Bell Jar - glad Glynis suggested it as 1st BB read - enjoyed it!
The Color Purple - had always wanted to read and it didn't disappoint
Daddy's Little Girl - was ok - didn't grab me enough to read any others
Girl Interrupted - good quick read
Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas - fantastic, really recommend (get tissues!)

What a list! And I know what you mean about tastes changing. When I have acquired a fresh stack of books and running out of room I try and cull, ie get rid of books that though I fancied once I continually pass over so obviously don't fancy any more! And of course, I have plenty to choose from so don't need to keep the least fancied just in case I run out!

Can't say I carefully analysed but I looked through most of it. You seem to be collecting books about the Brontes - I've read several, The Dark Quartet was the first I think and I enjoyed that. I'd love to hear your thoughts on any of the others you read.
