I got hold of 'Teacher, teacher!' from the library and I absolutely adored it. I'm not sure if it is because I work in a school, or that I was after something that was fairly easy reading and it fitted the bill, but honestly, I loved it so much I have had to order the next books!

| I had not heard of him before either Gwen - did the same as you and had a quick scoot over to Amazon to check him out. Restrained myself and did not add to basket ... but might put one of the titles on my bookmooch wishlist. |

They are set in a fictional village called Ragley on the Forest, which is supposedly near York. I think that on his website it tells you the exact Village High Street that he based it on.
They are really cosy books, in a way I wish I had waited to read them in winter as they are 'hot chocolate and biscuits' type reads. Oh well, book 4 is out on 1st January and is on preorder, so that can be fulfilled!!!!
(Also, I emailed him to say I enjoyed the book and found it inspiring, and had a lovely reply-he seems a very nice man!) _________________ Katey

The second one, which I am reading at the moment, seems quiet 'samey'-I am wishing I had left a longer gap between reading them to be honest. But then I often find that with a series, when an author spends the first few chapters reintroducing the characters.
