Hey guys
As you know it will soon be BB's 2nd birthday (its growing up so fast ). And I'm sure you've all had a look at the fabulous bookbox idea posted by Glynis. We were thinking as an extra birthday activity we could have our very own BB readalong, hosted by me
A readalong is a great way of reading a longer book, something you might otherwise have put at the bottom of Mt TBR. One book is chosen and divided in to sections (weekly or fortnightly). Then we meet up on the forums to discuss our feelings on the story so far. Participants would nominate a book just like for the monthly choice and we'd have a poll. I might also have a vote has to whether its weekly or not. I just wanted to see what you all thought about it?

I can't wait for this, thanks for offering to organise it Nicnic.
I'll open up a forum for BB birthday events such as the readalong & bookbox.
In the meantime I'll have a look at books in my collection I keep meaning to read... _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

I think this sounds like a great idea Nic ~ I'm looking forward to it and may even have a suggestion or two for the polls! _________________ Reading: The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coelho

hope you don't mind me moving your post Nic. Thought I'd get cracking setting up a new forum for it & it seemed logical to move it here _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

Thanks so much for doing this Nic - I think it's a great way to read the books that I keep putting off. I'm going to PM my suggestions to you. _________________ Currently reading: The Tent The Bucket and Me by Emma Kennedy and Granny The Pag by Nina Bawden
