http://www.dailylit.com/
I've registered with Daily Lit where you choose for instalments of a book to be sent to your inbox each day (or just weekdays if you prefer). Many of the books will be sent free of charge and you can link your Daily Lit profile to your Twitter profile so others can see what you're reading.
Haven't done anything like this before so should be interesting. I think you're supposed to be sent 15 mins' worth of reading each day.
There seem to be lots of books to choose from, lots of non-fiction too. You can 'gift' books too. Not sure how exactly! You can also sign up to Daily Lit's Big Read in affiliation with Etsy's Book Club. You read the chosen book, 5 mins each day, and discuss it with other readers. The chosen book at the mo is Thoreau's Walden.
Sounds addictive!!

I wanted to tell you that I just started reading 1632 on DailyLit.
DailyLit lets you read entire books in short installments sent to you by email or RSS. DailyLit also has discussion forums so if you start reading 1632 too, we can talk about it there.

And Benjamin Button is only 11 instalments
When I first signed up to Dailylit I chose to receive Arabian Nights... 600+ instalments ! The novelty soon wore off... receiving it daily would take me 2yrs + to complete !!
I wish you could browse the books based on their length :S[/b] _________________ Current reading: The Last Temptation, Val McDermid ~ 40 @2009

Wow 600 instalments
I've signed up for Walden by Thoreau and created a 'to read' list to remind me of the classics I'd like to read at some point.
