Film Club Guidelines

Monthly Discussion Forum

Each month members will be asked to PM me, Shropshireblue, with a film or TV programme with a book related theme (e.g., Pride & Prejudice; Jane Eyre; Miss Potter; Harry Potter; Notes on a Scandal etc).

We will then run a week long poll to decide which we want to watch and discuss.

To avoid confusion, we'll request your suggestions and run polls in conjunction with the main book discussion forum.

A discussion forum will then open from the 1st of each month for you to post your thoughts on the chosen title. As per our book discussion forum, you'll be able to add to threads when new titles are being discussed the following month (so there'll be no rush if you can't fit the film/TV show in that month).

Reviews/recommendations

Feel free at any time to post a review on a film, TV or theatre show you have seen. Remembering, of course, to use the spoiler function where necessary.

General Film Chat
Also feel free to post your all time favourite films, book adaptations, and also the ones you haven't enjoyed. Chat about the books that are rumoured/going to be made into films - who would you cast? What's on your films/TV recordings TBV (to be viewed ) shelf?

I hope that's covered everything. It'll pretty much be the same as the main book discussion forum. We'll keep you up-to-date via the usual email announcements we send you.

If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know.

Happy viewing!

Glynis & Debbie x
