Yay! I can't wait to watch this film again, it's one of the 1001 challenge films too so that's an added bonus! _________________ Swap List: http://tinyurl.com/33pg6r

I absolutely adore this film! I can't wait to watch it again. As I'm off work at the moment I'm going to wait until Monday when I'm all on my own and then I can watch Audrey and Gregory at their best! _________________ Reading: The Devil and Miss Prym by Paulo Coelho

I've not seen this film before either, however spotted in a mag yesterday that Audrey Hepburn won an Oscar for her performance in it. Will certainly be watching it. _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

This is one of my favourite films. I own it on DVD. Gregory Peck has always been a favourite of mine and this is an early appearance from Audrey Hepburn.
Off to watch this now so I should have it in the postto you on Monday Glynis! _________________ Swap List: http://tinyurl.com/33pg6r

Managed to catch it on Sky today, and I'm glad I did! The film while being very predictable, is well shot and Hepburn and Peck put in very believable performances. Lisa x _________________ Currently Reading - Want to Play? By P.J Tracy (again)

Just finished watching this. Loved the humour. Excellent comic acting, and acting overall. Gave it 4 stars. Bless Audrey Hepburn, so beautiful. _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

Glad you enjoyed it Glynis. It's a 5 star film for me, I absolutely adore Gregory Peck and think Audrey Hepburn is fantastic too. This film always makes me giggle especially when...
Spoiler:
they drug her at the beginning and Gregory Peck takes her home. The scene where she tells him "you may withdraw" as he was leaving the room made me laugh out loud both times I watched the film.
I also like the fact that they kept the end kind of believable by not making them go off in the sunset together!

It's on its way back to you now Mel! Thanks for the loan.
I like the bit where
Spoiler:
Gregory Peck spilt drink over his mate and pushed him over. Just the way it was done made me smile, esp the time he sent him flying in his chair. Poor bloke And the part at the riverside dance where they sneak a photo at the bar of Audrey and the barber - very good Also loved the scene where they put their hands in the stone face and Audrey shrieks. I got the impression they weren't so much acting as having a laugh. I liked how different Peck was in this to his role as Atticus Finch - so different in each. Great actor.

I've only seen Gregory Peck in two films now Mel - Roman Holiday and To Kill a Mockingbird. I've never heard of The Million Pound Note, but will be checking it out. Is it good? _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

It's a lovely film Glynis, kind of like "Brewsters Millions" if you've seen that? Definately keep an eye out for it or if I can find my copy that my dad recorded for me, I'll send it onto you. Rec'd Roman Holiday back today btw, thank you xxx _________________ Swap List: http://tinyurl.com/33pg6r
