Hi and welcome. I think you've come to the right place, we all get excited about books!

Hope you are enjoying White Teeth, I read it a little while ago and liked it. Did it as part of the Reading Challenge - see forum below!!

Have fun,

Sarah

Hello Ginger, I've not been on here too long myself ...

How are you finding Birdsong ? I had someone recommend it to me for an 8-books-about-WW1 challenge

I have just finished it this afternoon, I couldn't put it down. It has just become my favourite book I think! It is quite heavy and emotional in parts though so don't tackle it if you are having a bad day! Highly recommended!!

Another belated hello from me and welcome! Your book choices so far sound great. I keep meaning to read 'Bird Song', I've heard great things about it but also that it is very emotional. And 1984 is one of my favourites.

Will look forward to chatting more on here! x
