Discuss here your thoughts on The Deep End of the Ocean once you have watched it. Did you (not) enjoy it? Anything that struck you or maybe someone else could help if you have a question? We're not really looking for in depth discussions... just tell us what you think of it!

For those who have watched the film, please choose a star rating based on how much you liked it.

If you do have something to post that may ruin the plot for others, please remember to use the spoiler function (Details: http://risibookclub.myfreeforum.org/ftopic12.php )

I watched this film before I had my little girl and I really loved it but it upset me but haven't seen it again until today and now I'm a mummy and can relate to Beth(Michelle Pfeiffer)even more.
I still love this film so have given it 5 stars, it deals with a heartbreaking issue and makes you wonder how you'd react in similar circumstances.
I must try and get hold of the book by Jacquelyn Mitchard to compare

I have the book Mel - it's a well aged/yellowed American copy but you are welcome to it after I have read it if you'd like it - just let me know! x
