I am determined to read or re read a classic a month :
This is my list so far...

Sense and Sensibility..read it
Cranford...read it
Washington Square...read it
To be reassessed in July...

Might join you on that one, but probably not re-reads as I am trying to do 1 per month of the 1001 challenge and lots of them are classics!
Off the top of my head mine are:
Dickens - A Christmas Carol (had already chosen this too as my xmas book)
Orwell - 1984
Hemmingway - For whom the bell tolls
Huxley - Brave New World
Conrad - Heart of Darkness
Pasternak - Dr Zhivago |

This is quite a good idea, I should apply it my 1001 reads.
Dr Zhivago - really love the early film and watched it many times - must read the book.
