Love in the present tense -Catherine Ryan Hyde - this was OK but I didnt think it lived up to the hype
Restless - William Boyd - on my TBR
Sparkles - Louise Bagshaw - I had this but swapped it without reading it, just didnt take my fancy
March - Geraldine Brooks - on my TBR
Property by Valerie Martin - loved this, really good story
After Ever After by Rowan Coleman - enjoyed this one too, far better than her later stuff
By Bread Alone by Sarah Kate Lynch - on my TBR
Little Face by Sophie Hannah - I did quite enjoy this, but preferred Hurting Distance
Hurting Distance by Sophie Hannah - as above - really enjoyed this

Have read Property by Valerie Martin, for my book group, Josie. It sparked an interesting discussion on attitudes to slavery during the timescales of the novel. I enjoyed the book. _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

Of that list, I have only read 2 -
The Cutting Room by Louise Welsh - I really enjoyed this one, especially the descriptions of Glasgow and
Little Face by Sophie Hannah - I wasn't too keen on this, but I just don't think I like the crime/thriller genre! _________________ Currently reading: The Human Stain by Philip Roth

Restless - William Boyd on TBR
March - Geraldine Brooks Didn’t like this and didn’t finish it but loved her Year of Wonders
First Casualty by Ben Elton Enjoyed this one, about a murder in the midst of the madness of war. A serious book from Ben Elton.
The Secret River by Kate Grenville on TBR
