Yey I picked up a copy of this from the Library.
When I've heard about this in the past I always thought it was about 'nerd' love...

Anyone else reading it ?

I finished reading Geek Love last night.

At 392 pages, it was one of the longer books I've read for a while.  I thought it would have been better either making it longer and really telling the full story of the Binewski family over the generations, or shorter and just concentrating on one aspect of the story- either the Notes from Now section, or the families past.
I would have preferred it to have been entirely the Notes from Now section.  Maybe because it was easier to imagine, being a 'norm' and all.  I found Miss Lick and her quest interesting-
Spoiler:

transforming pretty girls into "Plain and Ugly Janes"

I love Water for Elephants.  I have Geek Love but it is another NRY- not read yet-book.  But may have to dig it out now.
