Hey, everyone! My names mikey i'm 27 from Leicestershire.
Like everyone else here I love my books, i've been an avid reader all my life. I read 3-4 books a week and i actually start to panic if I don't have a book on the go.
I'm looking for other like minded book addicts to give me some pointers on what I should be reading. I've read way too many bad books!
I read all kinds of different books, tending to find an author I like then ploughing my way through all of their books.
Fave authors include
Bernard Cornwell
Irvine Welsh
Peter F Hamilton
Stephen King (his early stuff)
Clive Barker
Andy Macnab
Ben Elton
The last book i really enjoyed was Dr No by Ian Fleming, try his books!
Looking forward to meeting you all around the forum!

Hello and welcome. Sounds like you've come to the right place. It'll probably be a bit quiet on here today, usually is at the weekend but I'm sure you'll find plenty to look at in the meantime. Not sure my book tastes overlap much with yours with the exception of Ben Elton which I enjoy. Must try to try new things though!
Have fun here and any questions? Just ask!

Hi Mikey - you are very welcome here. I must admit that I've not read any of the authors on your list apart from a couple of early Stephen Kings.
I've discovered so many new authors since arriving on book forums and hope you enjoy it as much as we all do. _________________ Currently reading: The Tent The Bucket and Me by Emma Kennedy and Granny The Pag by Nina Bawden

Hi and welcome. If you like the Sharpe novels by Bernard Cornwell then you may like to read the books by Allan Mallinson. _________________ Currently reading: Adept
