Discuss here your thoughts on The Wedding Date once you have watched it. Did you (not) enjoy it? Anything that struck you or maybe someone else could help if you have a question? We're not really looking for in depth discussions... just tell us what you think of it!

For those who have watched the film, please choose a star rating based on how much you liked it.

If you do have something to post that may ruin the plot for others, please remember to use the spoiler function (Details: http://risibookclub.myfreeforum.org/ftopic12.php )

painstakingly watched this a while ago, and this is one film I won't be watching again. For one I'm not overly keen on Dermot and two he had no chemistry with Debra whatsoever. Lisa x

I'm not a fan of Demot Milroney either Lisa but I did like him in this film for some reason!

Loved it A fab feel good film. Great escapism and I loved the music. Never heard of Dermot M? (oops forgot his name) before and thought he was fine. I liked Debra Messing - first thing I've seen her in. She reminded me of Jennifer Aniston in this.

I really like Debra Messing, Glynis. The only thing I'd seen her in prior to this was Will & Grace so it was nice to see her playing a slightly different role. I enjoyed the book more than the film but I'd still give the film 5*'s as like you say, it is a fab feel good movie!

I really like Debra Messing. Watched this some time ago and enjoyed it. It's a fun feel good movie.
