We are off to Cornwall at the weekend (first UK holiday in 15years!)

I'm taking:
New Moon - Stephanie Mayers (Twilight)
A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian -Marina Lewycka
The Boy with No Shoes by William Horwood

I'm NOT taking 2666 as it's a real GRIND to read - I may give up on it, something I don't do very often at all!!

Zan

Have a good holiday Zan, and I'll cross my fingers for the weather for you too. I love Cornwall.

We're actually away next week too, but to the Isle of Wight to cat sit for my BIL and SIL, and to do some more sorting out at my FIL's house. I've decided to take World Without End by Ken Follett, the sequel to Pillars of the Earth, then I shall only need to one!

I love Cornwall but its a few years since I have been.  I think if I went now I wouldn't come home again!

Where are you going - Boscastle?

I have got 2666 but haven't go the energy to read it yet but I was hoping it would be worth the effort when I do get around to it.

Have a great time away, Zan - I love Cornwall!

We are off to the lakes district for a long weekend next weekend. We've been before and staying at the Drunken Duck Inn again.  Hoping to do some great walks in the area, so not sure I will have much reading time.

If you are coming up the M6, look to your right just before getting off the motorway at J36 and you will see a big hill.  I live at the bottom of it.
