Just to summarise, how many of the 1001 books did you manage to read this year?
I'm challenging myself to read more of the 1001 books in 2008 than I did this year.
It looks like Amie has read the most books this year - well done Amie!

Well done Amie, you've read loads. Have you enjoyed doing it?
I have liked having something to focus on some of the time and I loved The Fingersmith which was one of mine and enjoyed The 39 Steps too. Have read some stinkers though, and stuck them out to the end so they counted!
I've read 13 and hope to get one more in before the year end, which is ok since I decided to do one a month. Will definitely continue next year. |

Only 8 for me - a bit disappointing I might get one or two in before the end of the year. I think next year I will aim for 12 - one a month. _________________ Currently reading: The Human Stain by Philip Roth

Only 8 for me too, although is A Christmas Carol on the list? If so it'll be 9.
