I have wanted to read this for a while, and decided that as it was part of the 1001 challenge I would get on with it! I got it out of teh library and read it in a day.
I'm not entirely sure if I thought it was a masterpiece or overrated, not a lot seemed to happen, but it was kind of compelling too, and I didn't warm to Holden but also had a bit of a soft spot for his teenage angst.
Has anyone else read it? And if so what did you tink?
