Thought I'd start a thread for us to post what we've bought via the affiliated links & also for you to tell us when you've made a purchase so's we can check it worked. It makes sense to have a central thread for this, and, without sounding nosy, I do like hearing about the books we're often tempted to buy!!

Hi Glynis, just made an order through The Book People link for about £24.00. Just ordered the lucky dip for under 5's, 10 x Jez Alborough books (Thought I'd keep some of the books for Rachel but use some as Xmas pressies etc too), Kids Healthy Lunchbox and a party ideas book but I can't remember what the title was now (it was an impulse buy!). Anyway, hope they go through OK and show on your records x _________________ Swap List: http://tinyurl.com/33pg6r

I bought some books for school from Amazon. 'Knowledge about Language' and 'Guide to Standard Grade English'(think that was the title!). Bit boring really! _________________ Currently reading: The Human Stain by Philip Roth

I bought a book for a night class I am taking on the Ancient Celts, and I HAD to make it up to £15 to get free delivery so bought a book of literacy games for work. _________________ Currently reading: The Human Stain by Philip Roth

Been click happy again! I have been trying to get A Thousand Splended Suns for ages! I decided to wait until it came out on paperback, but it was only released in paperback for a while then the publishers have stopped production of it because it is being re-released in a new format - but not till MAY next year!!! Decided to bite the bullet and just by the hardback, again I HAD to make the order up to £15 so got another Celtic book for my night class. _________________ Currently reading: The Human Stain by Philip Roth

I've just bought some Christmas pressies via our Book People link, spending £20 so it'll bump up the fund a bit.
Bought - The Big Glorious Book for Girls, Usborne Dinosaur lift-the-flap book, Beware of the Storybook Wolves: A Pop-up Classic by Lauren Childs, Dora a Present for Santa, Usborne book on trees, and Outdoor Fun and Games for Kids using points I'd collected _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

I love the Book People!
I ordered some books 2 days ago using a free p+p discount code and they arrived today. I was expecting delivery 7-10 days after ordering, so am sooo chuffed they turned up today. Excellent as always. And the Big Glorious Book for Girls is brilliant. I'm tempted to buy one for us! I might get another for our 11 yr old niece who would love everything in it. _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg

I've got to make an order with the bookpeople in the next few days, want to get some books for Rachel's Xmas and Birthday pressies. Will let you know when I do it, do you have to spend over a certain amount to get free postage with them does anyone know? _________________ Swap List: http://tinyurl.com/33pg6r

Yes, you have to spend £25 but look online for free p+p voucher codes and you won't need a min spend of £25. I used the same code 3 times and it worked a treat. _________________ Reading: Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow by Peter Hoeg
