HI All..I'm Another NewbieHello..My name is LaMonica. I'll be 36 in October. I was an avid reader for years. But fell off the last six..fell off I mean ..maybe only 1 or two books a year. Waaay down from my one a month from when I was a teen. But I think I'm getting back in the swing of it. I have always bought books. And I've actually read 3 in the last two months. That's a big deal for me considering the last six years.
So I'm hoping to have some great discussions here.

Oh LaMonica, dont be scared of me, I'm a pussy cat really! I'm reading that book as it was one of BB's choices last month, so I'm not the only one on here that is reading/has read it. Must say it's vey different from my usual read. Have you read it? If so, maybe you could do a review on the book review thread?

Has anyone died yet. I know that's ridiculous...but I figure , hey, Life's scarey enough .

So glad youre not scared OF me!!! Anyone died yet? The question is, is anyone still alive!!!! It's not scarey, I'm finding it all quite bizarre!

Ohh No...I see. we are on two different planes.
I'm talking in reference to the urban legend surrounding the book. The book is being somewhat hyped like the concept in the movie "The Ring". You know the movie where if you watch this video tape, supposedly you die shortly after. Well that's what's "Suppose to happen to you after you read this book. You are suppose to NOT live long after finishing.
I don't believe in such things.. No really I don't. But like i said..Life is scarey enough.

Well, I'm glad we've got that cleared up!! I'd honestly not heard anything about this book until it became a book of the month on here. So I've not been brave to read it!!!! No, I dont believe stuff like that either. Lets see shall we??!!

Hi and welcome to BB. I think you'll find your reading quota goes up if you read most of the posts on here. Everyone reads such interesting books and give such good reviews, you just have to get a copy. I 've had two books arrive this morning to add to my 'small' collection (  ) after reading about them on here.
