How many books should I buy?I have a bit of money which is not allocated to anything and I am tempted to make a large dent in my wishlist. Should I? Or is that just ridiculous when i have a massive TBR? Should I limit myself to perhaps buying 10 or 20 books instead? Or should I buy every book on my list? Or shoudl I buy none I am in a real quandry!

If it were me and I had plenty to read without buying more I would squirrel the money away until there was something I really desperately wanted (even more than my wishlist books!) and then I could justify having it. Probably not what you want to hear, but that's what I would do!

No, I do need to be sensible. I have looked to see what the library has off my wishlist, so I will treat myself to a few off Amazon-maybe 5 But I won't go mad!

I agree with Karen. You should def save the money, once you've moved you might find something that you really want with it! (new bookshelves??)

If I had some spare cash (!) I would maybe treat myself ... but not go mad. I already have so many books TBR that I even feel a little guilty about getting more, but sometimes I can't help but splurge on Bookmooch - until I run out of points !
Book groups that have TWO choices per month are also a bad idea ! LOL

Decision made-I am going to treat myself to 10 new books. I know I don't really need them, but my wishlist is now at around 300 and I want to make abit of a dent in it whilst I can afford to. I have also decided to treat myself to a dyson ball hoover The rest will go into savings.

Having always lived in rented houses we have had numerous rubbish vac's, so I am finally going to get a decent one! I know 10 books is still quite a lot, but I did actually toy with spending the hoover money on books too, so it could be far worse!!!

I have bought- Beauty by Robin McKinley, the 1001 movies you must see before you die book and the twilight DVD today I think I may just treat myself to two more books and then leave it at that-I must be sensible!

That was a very sensible and well thought out decision - well done. Now tell me how you managed to be so sensible - I need some tips.
