Wooo! I've won a 3 night stay at Centre Parcs for a family of 4!! Got a letter this morning - I won it with Renault Scenic & iVillage (for one heart-stopping moment, thought I'd won a car hehe).
It includes £150 spending money & fuel costs. That's Tim's birthday pressie sorted then It's his birthday on the 24th and I was wondering what to get him. We love Centre Parcs too.

I finally reached my MSE challenge target  With the phone I won it came to about £176 and I needed £180 but then won Detox patches from Avon which has taken me over my target
Going to set myself another target since it's only Feb. Hopefully something that will make me rich

Got a surprise in the post this morning - a proof copy of Oystercatchers the new Susan Fletcher one (she wrote Eve Green which I loved) to review for Harper Collins Reading Groups. During the week, I got a children's book I'd selected for Eva, "Lost and Found" - Oliver Jeffers, after filling in a survey about Nigel Slater. I've just received a parcel with party gear for a St George's Day street party!! (flags, bunting, balloons, posters) I vaguely remember entering the comp (or it may have been a freebie?) and wondering what I would do with it if I actually won it. I could put the George Cross flags in with RiSi swaps There was no letter with the parcel. I might have to put it on eBay or give it to a local school.
That's two wins this week - they say things come in 3s...

Hehe apparently there's a St George's Day parade in our town tomorrow starting at the town hall and ending up at the rugby club where there'll be a barbeque, stalls, jousting etc. So I've just called the rugby club and donated the party gear to them. Dropping it off today. They'll be able to hand out the flags to kids and use the bunting & giant flags to decorate the bbq area. Ooh I love helping out. We're going tomorrow, so I'll take some pics of us waving flags
