Ranks & Wiggly Stars

Thought it might be a fun idea. All it revolves around is how active you are on the site and how many posts you make. So if you make your first post you will have the rank 'Babblers First Words' and once you reach 50 posts you'll change to 'Enjoys Books' and so on.

(Lost creativity with 50 and 1000 posts so if you have any ideas let me know... something along the lines of the site name)

Busy babbling when should be reading 100
An Addicted Babbler 500
Babbling for Britain 1000
Babbled so much I fell off my seat 5000

Special Rank:

'I won a BB quiz!'
If you happen to win a quiz held by ShropshireBlue or Sparkymarky I will change it so you get a special rank.

'I'm a BB Winner'
You'll receive a special set of purple wiggly stars if you win a quiz/competition involving a special prize!

A few more may come up and some may change but that's how it stands at the moment

I'm sad I seem to have had my I've won a BB quiz stars removed. Have I been a naughty girl?

Of course not. We just thought it was better we removed them after the second person won otherwise everyone would prob end up having them so there would be no one left to get wiggly stars when they did win again!

Usually til we announce winners of the competition following the one you won! But I'll let you keep them until the end of next month's draw

Yeah! I am nearly an 'addicted babbler' with 500 posts and since I am off on holiday for about another 4 weeks I should be getting that title very soon I should think

The wiggly stars are so lovely

I'm so glad I found this thread, I was actually wondering what do they mean. Now I can't wait to get a few light blue ones for myself. Looking forward to more colors too.

(I wonder if they could be changed to something else for certain occasions - like little wiggly hearts for Valentine's Day or little bells when Christmas is near )

Unfortunately we can only use what the support forum has installed and there are no festive icons: http://forum.myfreeforum.org/Available_rank_images_about91.html

We could suggest them but some on there seem a bit big so if anyone finds something small then we could only ask.

The little blue mushrooms are so lovely!! a bit too big though.

However I saw some little blue hearts too
And some round shaped things looking like Christmas lights (especially the green and red ones )

And I have only looked at the very first page (out of nine)

had a look and there's nothing suitable. There are clovers for St Patrick's Day and angels perhaps for Christmas, but that's it. Can you suggest them Debbie?

I liked the Dr Who one with a dalek as moderator

I'll have a Google and see what pics I can come up with ... not sure if we'd have to make them (I won't be able to do animated ones) for them to install. Will get that done for Dec!

Does anyone fancy doing this? As I don't know how to zip files - although I could probably find out. If you come across any suitable pics, let us know.

On page nine they have some angels (for Christmas) but I think they'd be too big! They're Xmas cracher crowns on page 2 but again I think we'd have the same problem! I could look at the different ranks all day, they had some real funny ones on there!

We might just be a bit early - I'm sure other sites will prob want something similar and suggest something so there might be more choice later on.

Anyway, I've since discovered we can request new rank pics, so will have a Google too.

Sorry Kay - I saw those mushrooms too, but thought most of it looked too big. Don't think the angels are too big though.

Zipping files is very easy if you have Windows XP. Just select the files and right click on them and choose "Send to" -> "Compressed folder" and you're done.
