I understand what you mean Laura, but a charity or a library probably would not have the manpower to clear out all those books and then sort them into some sort of order for sale or loan afterwards. And where would they store them, they would need to rent the warehouse they were already in. This way is probably the best, though I agree to see the way some people behave is not nice. A donation to a charity or good cause when you take a bag of books would have been more manageable. |
