Ooh I'm really pleased about this month's choices. I recently read Perfume so will be able to post my thoughts on the 1st and have Cloud Atlas on my tbr pile so glad I'll finally get round to reading it.

Yup looking forward to Cloud Atlas too! Read a couple of pages but been busy so not got any further. Want to read Perfume too but am not allowing myself to buy any more books until my pile goes down at least a bit!

I meant next month's choices getting carried away.

I couldn't put perfume down Debs. Read it in 2 days which is unusual for me Kite Runner took me 2 weeks

Happy with Feb's choices as I have both books on my TBR pile for ages, so might get them read now.

I've read both of these and thoroughly enjoyed them. I'm envious of anyone reading them for the first time! Enjoy.

Would love to see the film Glynis but haven't been to the cinema in ages - lack of babysitters! I keep meaning to get caught up on all those I've missed on DVD but we never seem to have enough time without countless interruptions like "Mum, I need a drink" "Mum, I'm going to the toilet" "Mum, how does the seed get into the egg to make a baby?" " Mum, what is heaven really like?" My son the greatest procrastinator of all time!

I totally empathise with you there Treez. We have a lack of babysitters problem too. It's been over a year since I went to the cinema. (Having said that, Charis stayed at my sister-in-law's overnight on sat. Her first time ever away and she did really well. They loved having her and want to do it again, so think a cinema trip will be on the cards after all )

I managed to get a swap for Perfume and picked up Cloud Atlas in a charity shop for 99p... Not sure which one to read first, maybe Perfume because I quite fancy watching the film.

I started Perfume a little earlier than planned but I'm enjoying it so far!! I think I'll probably read something in between this and Cloud Atlas... after seeing Fi gave up with it I'm not sure if I'm going to enjoy it.

Well.. I started it but gave up after a few pages - wanted to get through a book so read a shorter one. Determined to read it though! Same with Kevin - still not gone back to that!

Not looking good for Cloud Atlas... Maybe I'll give it a go next and see how I get on, although I'm really wanting to read Affinity next!

I'm gonna give Cloud Atlas a go next, so all may not be lost

I've had the Jonathan Strange novel for over 2 years but haven't read it cos it's such a huge book. Enjoy it Sparky
