I enjoyed this book & gave it 3 stars, however I found it a very easy read & instantly forgettable. The story of the murder although interesting added nothing to the story & I agree with alot of Amie's comments in that the ending was predictable. An interesting & enjoyable light read.

I read this some time ago. I recall it being quite an enjoyable, quick and light read, a fair first novel. It won the Carnegie award several years ago, which in my opinion I don't think it deserved. I don't think I would rate it any more than average, so gave it 3 stars.
