What did you think of I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings?  I loved it, I want to read the rest of the series now.

I loved it too! But I have heard the others are not as good. I think it would be difficult to live up to 'Caged Bird' and I don't want to be disappointed so I don't think I will read them anytime soon- if you do let me know what you think tho.

I know i'm a little late in the year joining this but I thought why not! Gives me an excuse to read more as catch up    so far I've read this year

1) Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
2) White Teeth - Zadie Smith
3) Birdsong - Sebastian Faulks

And I have several more on my tbr so hopefully should start to make a dent in the list soon!!

I don't think I have read any this year!  Shameful!!!  I have asked for '1001 books..' for my birthday though which will make it easier to keep track of exactly what is in there!
