Not sure about a biography, but there is a movie of her life called Sylvie with Gwyneth Paltrow playing Plath. I haven't seen it, but I reckon it looks quite good and wouldn't ming seeing it myself. I also think there is a book of her letters as collected and edited by her husband Ted Hughes. Check out amazon.

I must confess I read quite a few webpages about Plath before & during my reading of the book.
This gave me an empathy - if not sympathy for her.
Thats maybe why I liked this book, I can't say 'enjoyed' as such
Also I love the era it is set in - I can just imagine all the people - places - clothes & architecture.

| Thanks for that Miranda I'll definitely look out for those & see if I can get a DVD of the movie although Gwyneth Paltrow as Sylvia Plath puts me off it!! Not a huge fan of hers! |

Sorry to be late on this one.
Having just waded through the poisonwood bible to then take on this little book.
I have to say it was just DULL.
I only finished it as I felt I had to.
The only thing I found interesting was that my local library classified the book as junior fiction.
I needed to read an action book after the drugery of this and the Poisonwood bible back to back.
Sorry a big miss for me....
