A huge TBR but I've only read 2 and none on my pile. But:

Inconceivable by Ben Elton - liked this and most of his other earlier ones I read, haven't read Dead Famous but heard it's good. (Saw him live on stage last year though, which was brill!

Notes On A Scandal by Zoe Heller - a great book. Very well written characters. And I liked the film too, but glad I'd read the book first as I never end up reading books if I've already seen the film, too disappointing!

Only read 2 from that list!

The Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold
Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

Both really good books but the cover of TTW said it was the next Lovely Bones or something... tbh don't think there is any connection at all!

That is a huge list Mel, but then you do read quickly! Have read one from your list: The Reading Group - Elizabeth Noble. I don't remember much about it; more about the people's lives in the group if I remember rightly.

Hello!

Lucky - Alice Seabold ... this was an ok-ish book, didn't sympathise as much as I felt I should considering the subject matter

The Lovely Bones - Alice Seabold ... mixed feelings about this book, but very readable.

The Island - Victoria Hislop ... a page turner. it's on my swap list.

Man & Boy/Man & Wife/One for my baby - Tony Parsons ... I've read at least one of these, I forget which one, not my cup of tea

Have read The Lovely Bones and wouldn't mind looking at Teri Hatcher's book. Have The Mathematics of Love on my TBR. Didn't think much to The Lovely Bones.

Only just spotted this. Absolutely no worries Mel - I've far too much to read already, but thanks for the offer. It's the sort of book I like to read at Christmas so might ask Santa for it
