Nobody would swap with me either. My local library had two copies in stock, so maybe worth a try with you local.

Sorry rebus, didn't see your message until now... sorry there wasn't anything on your list that I was after. I've had lots of requests for it today though but nothing has taken my fancy!

Sorry again!

I received my copy this morning - I'm gonna start it tonight! Cant wait.
Am I the last one to start?!

(BTW- I've already promised my copy to someone else after I've finished so it wont be up for grabs).

No I have not started it.

Going to skip it.

Kazuo Ishiguro is not an author I am that bothered about TBH. I started remains of the day and did not finish and as for When We Were Orphans I dont think I even finished the first chapter.

Of the 5 choices this was the one I least wanted to read.

You're not the last person to start the book Smiler. I was going to start it tonight, but drank too much wine at my other book group meeting last night!! So will start it tomorrow evening. Looking forward to it.

I skim read (sp??) a book once and it did my head in!! I have to persevere with books I'm struggling with to the end, I can't give up. To echo Zan's comments, I at least read 100 pages to get used to the style.
