As its a rainy day I thought it would be a good time to sort out my shleves and list my tbr, its manageable at the moment but I don't see it staying that way....

I've read, and enjoyed the following -
4) The Da Vinci Code - Dane Brown
5) Emma - Jane Austen
6) Sense and Sensibility - Jane Austen
7) Persusuion - Jane Austen
Plus I watched the TV adaptation of North and South which was really good, so must read the book now. Lisa x

I would put The Book Thief and Thirteenth Tale joint first. Really enjoyed both. I think Salem Falls would be my least favourite but that is because of the court room scenes and I am not to keen on these in books.
I also have the these books on my very long TBR.

1) The Book Thief - Markus Zusak - I loved this one, very emotional at times
2) The Devil Wears Prada - Lauren Weisbergen - I read this years ago and enjoyed it very much
3) A Gathering Light - Jennifer Donnelly - I couldnt get into this one, but most people have loved it
4) The Da Vinci Code - Dane Brown - I really didnt think I would like this - but I did!
17) The Thirteenth Tale - Diane Setterfield - one of my all time favourites - a wonderful book
20) The Tenant Of Wildfell Hall - Anne Bronte - I read this for O Level
22) The Client - John Grisham - probably my favourite of his books
24) The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath - on my TBR
28 ) The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night Time - Mark Haddon - another that I really enjoyed
29) Disordered Minds - Minette Walters - one of my favourite authors
32) Hurting Distance - Sophie Hannah (on loan) - this is great, better than Little Face
34) Digital Fortress - Dan Brown - another good read
36) The Point Of Rescue - Sophie Hannah - on my TBR

1) The Book Thief - Markus Zusak On my TBR
4) The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown Enjoyed this, very fast moving
5) Emma - Jane Austen Read recently and enjoyed
6) Sense and Sensibility - Jane Austen read when too young I think, found it boring then but think I'd enjoy it now
7) Persusuion - Jane Austen Read recently and enjoyed
10) Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte Not my favourite Bronte but ok
13) Orlando - Virgina Woolf Sorry, tedious in my opinion
17) The Thirteenth Tale - Diane Setterfield Great
20) The Tenant Of Wildfell Hall - Anne Bronte A better and underated Bronte book
28 ) The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night Time - Mark Haddon Like this
29) Disordered Minds - Minette Walters Not read this but love her books

3) A Gathering Light - Jennifer Donnelly found this just average really compared to everyone else in the world who found it fantastic!
4) The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown found this great
17) The Thirteenth Tale - Diane Setterfield really enjoyed this one too
21) The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks Very short, quick read, but did not really do it for me.
28 ) The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night Time - Mark Haddon Loved this, thought it was brilliant
29) Disordered Minds - Minette Walters Favourite author, have never failed to enjoy one of her books
34) Digital Fortress - Dan Brown Another good read
35) Charlotte Gray - Sebastian Faulks Can't remember much about this one other than I know I read it.
37) Salem Falls - Jodi Picoult Found this okay, but not one of my favourite authors |

3) A Gathering Light - Jennifer Donnelly TBR
12) The Picture of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde; I tried this ages ago and couldn't get into it, but wouldn't be averse to giving it another go
*** 15) Lord of The Rings - J RR Tolkien - Read; or at least I think I've read all three. We had The Hobbit read to us in primary school
*** 16) Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden - Read, but would like to re-read, especially if I get around to watching the film.
*** 18 ) Slaughterhouse Five - Kurt Vonnegut- Read, enjoyed it but I left it at someone's house to 'pass it on', so can't have a quick flick thru to refresh my memory
***24) The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath - Read, probably about 10 years ago when I was an angsty- teen
*** 28 ) The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night Time - Mark Haddon - Read
39) Oranges are not the only fruit - Jeannete Winterson - TBR
*** 42) The Thirty Nine Steps - John Buchan - Read. A good fun romp, we even went to see the stage play earlier on in the year !
43) Saturday - Ian McEwan, another one I've tried but given up on. I really didn't care about the privileged squash-playing family
